We live up to your Code of Conduct. Slow operates directly on the ground in Laos, where our coffee is grown and can live up to the highest of due diligence with full traceability.
XL-BYG a.m.b.a can join other ambitious companies that are taking a stance on the sustainability agenda. Join Slow to regenerate forests and biodiversity.
The coffee industry is suffering from a broken value chain, that contributes to biodiversity loss and climate change. It keeps coffee farmers in poverty and lacks transparency. This makes it difficult for you to know where your coffee is coming from, how it was grown, and by whom.
Poverty
Deforestation
Biodiversity Loss
By choosing Slow as your coffee supplier, you take a stance against an unjust system, and you give support to nature, biodiversity and future generations. We enable you to trace the source of your coffee, from plot to cup.
Biodiversity & Carbon
Slow coffee grows alongside trees that absorb more carbon than emitted in the rest of the value chain, making your coffee carbon-negative.

Extra Dark is perfect for those who prefer coffee with a full, intense taste. The beans are carefully dark-roasted whilst respecting the origin. Roasting leaves the coffee intact for surprising sweetness and a hint of red berries. You can expect a dark chocolate note, rye, a touch of hops and a suppressed bitterness—bold aromas and flavours, yet mild, sweet and smooth.
